DEMASIDO TEMPRANO, DEMASIADO TARDE.

(Too early, too late).
Exhibition, 2024.

“This exhibition consists of 19 photographs from the ongoing series “Cabeza fría hot wheels” (Cool Head, Hot Wheels), which portrays the intimacy and daily life of truck drivers. For this exhibition, a selection of images was made from the co-driver's point of view, with the main intention of analyzing the relativity of time, dimensions, and distances that is generated between the photographic language and such a specific point of view. Too early, too late is a phrase taken from Regis Durand's book “l'expérience photographique” to refer to the fact that photographic time exists in a limbo between past and future, more like a constant present. The analogy to time and the rhythms of the road allowed me to understand the dynamics and concepts I have been exploring with this research.
